NECA ACT is pleased to announce that our Fuel Scheme is returning in-house after many years of being outsourced to Fueltrac.

The Fuel Scheme is a valuable way of consolidating and controlling your company’s fuel expenditure and the changes being introduced will enhance its service.

The move is a result of NECA’s ongoing commitment to improving our policies and practices to ensure that our members are able to make the most of the NECA services they are using.

Benefits of the Fuel Scheme

The Scheme carries a number of benefits for your business. These include:

• Low monthly card fee of $3.95 per active card (from January 2011 statement)
• No other transaction fees (from January 2011 statement)
• Australia-wide acceptance
• You control your employee spending on fuel and selected items
• PIN security available and recommended
• Odometer prompt available if required for monitoring activites and vehicle efficiencies
• After-hours number for reporting stolen cards
• Stress free record-keeping
• Easy direct debit payment per month
• Tax invoices emailed to you monthly at no charge
• Paper-based invoices will be at an additional cost to the customer at $2.75 per card per month.

Fuel Scheme Savings

As a Fuel Scheme member you can save:

• 2 cents a litre off Unleaded
• 2 cents off lead replacement fuel
• 2 cents off Diesel
• 1 cent off gas
• No discounts on Premium Fuel at this stage

Change to transaction fees

From 1 January 2011 NECA will also be replacing the transaction fees with a single monthly transaction fee of just $3.95. Traditionally NECA has retained the transaction fee with members paying 38 cents per fill on each card.

This fee will apply to active cards used in any statement period and is GST inclusive.
