Welcome to NECA ACT

Welcome to NECA ACT, the peak body in the electrotechnology contracting sector representing individual firms and companies in ACT whose business is the selling, installation, servicing and repair of electrical and communications products.

The principal objective of NECA is the promotion, safeguarding and advancement of members' interests. NECA is a national organisation, which opens up the opportunity for wider member benefits and a greater say in the future of the industry through our national lobbying efforts with governments across Australia.

The ACT section of the site is currently under review and development as part of the forthcoming announcements of new and enhanced services to our members.

NECA Members please note that your login details for the NECA website have changed and to access the site please do the following.

Username: Your new username will be your state initials plus your member number ie your new username is ACTXXXX

Passwords: An initial password will be generated by the system. When you first enter the site, you will need to enter your username and select 'Forgot Password'.

Electrical Contractors Welcome Solar Energy Tariff (November 2009)

The National Electrical and Communications Association, "NECA", today welcomed the NSW state government's decision to introduce a gross feed-in tariff for NSW households and small retail customers who install grid connected solar panels.
